STEVE BOYLE PHOTO is headed to New York City to photograph the annual ING New York City Marathon and visit with friends and family.  In 2007, I covered the race for Runner’s World Magazine since I was in town for the Olympic Trials Men’s Marathon the day before, see previous post.  My vantage point last year was the Queensboro Bridge for the majority of the race.  Images shot on and from the bridge are below.  Coverage for this years race has not been decided yet, but expect something unique.

My favorite image from the 2007 race was shot from the tram between Manhattan and Roosevelt Island, totally worth the $16 I spent to ride back and forth four times.
