STEVE BOYLE PHOTO spent the duration of the NYC Marathon on and around the Madison Avenue Bridge taking the runners into Manhattan for the last time coming from the Bronx. I decided on this location because bridges / overhangs provide shadows to work with and the remote location of the bridge, steps before mile marker 21, assured me there would be no other photographers there. Who wants to make a picture that everyone else is making? I’ll leave that up to the agencies and wires; I’m different.
I made a quick edit and the image below jumped out at me. More selects to come later, off to Chicago for the next few days.
